Done what was expected today Fury Road, jumped well in the main apart from the last. Would have won cosier than he did had it not been for that.

Still 16s with 365. He is one horse they never seem to cut much despite what he does. Other horses get chopped in half for a win like that

I'd expect him to get beaten before cheltenham in a slowly run race

A lovely horse who just took a bit of time last season, when he wasn't always the bravest jumping at home or on the racecourse. He ended up handicapping himself very well and won the EBF Final before hosing up in the Persian War. He'll now go to Newbury for the Long Distance Hurdle. If it looked like he wasn't going to be good enough for the Stayers' Hurdle he could go chasing – but I have a sneaking feeling he'll be right in the mix in the Stayers'. We'll know more by next weekend.
