      • Proper, proper horse. That Albert Bartlett is magic.

McFabulous has cruised into but hasn't stayed there for me, even with the shambolic early pace - Aintree Hurdle looks perfect for him if staying over hurdles.

Good to see Paisley back something like himself.

Agree. Bubble burst with him and a few others. The winner was very good indeed, and that was first time up.

                • Decent Run from Paisley no excuses winner better on the day, deserves be Fav TH especially with plenty of Hobbs runner needing a run. Still an openish division with fresh blood coming through. Mcfab bubble burst thou !

He will take a lot of beating in that race at aintree I'd say

                    he looks a serious animal

I'd say paisley has run very near his best there, just thyme hill and mcfabulous are much better than the horses he has been beating (old man thistlecrack, Sam spinner, lisnagar oscar etc)

very happy with my thyme hill and monkfish ante post bets right now

very tempted to add fury road

                    • A crazy muddling race. Just wish it had been run properly. Not sure what to make of it. TH a good winner and Paisley looked back . Mcfabulous just didn't look like he stayed...not good enough. Wish they could start it again though and run it like a true run race. Inconclusive to say the least.

                      • Re: Fury Road - hasn't he been declared for the Hatton grace, any chance he goes out a couple of points if he gets turned over?

                        • Agree with what everyone has said best 2 horses finished 1st and 2nd. Mcfabulous didn't stay 3 miles. You'd like to think the front 2 would have a fair bit of improvement in them as well.

I think there are reasons to think Paisley will reverse that form. The slow pace had to suit TH more than PP and TH was in the box seat all the way round.

On a stiff track like Cheltenham I would prefer PP but couldn't resist the 14/1 on Fury Road after that, given the AB form got such a decent boost.

I can't see me backing any other horses in this now.

Yes and no. I doubt they expect to beat Honeysuckle over 2 1/2. Decent placed run will see his price firm up

I actually think he will go close on Sunday! Wants further but I'd be going in again now as think CAN win but should run a good one
