Saldier just ridden to set it up for Saint Roi or sharjah, PT made sure Aba was going nowhere. Although don’t think he’s good enough anyway Aba that is.

Saint Roi doesn’t Hurdle well enough imo.

Nice win by Sharjah but as was equally impressed by Aspire Tower, he’s definitely improving and that run in the Triumph looks like a one off duff one

I expect he'll come on a fair bit for it. I can never get the right side of Sharjah. I back him, he falls out the telly, I leave him alone and he pisses up.

The results in the 2m division this season make it impossible to be confident. Has any horse done everything right?


I think it's exciting, but highly influenced by having a book in the race

If you’ve got 25s for saldier I wouldn’t be giving up hope after that. Jumps like a champion hurdler then just completely emptied. No matter how ready to go they had him you’d like to think fitness will improve for a run having been off over a year. Saint Roi jumping was shite, Sharjah is obviously very good but I couldn’t fancy him for Cheltenham although he’ll probably not be the worst each way bet on the day.

Would love to see Concertista here, but not optimistic about it happening at this point. Wonder if Elixir D'ainay could end up here if we see him this year? Depends if chasing is still the plan.

Hopefully we get to see Saldier again this season, he jumped very nicely.

As impressive as Sharjah was there Aspire Tower was the one to take from the race for me. Cheltenham is a bigger staying test than today and think it will suit.

More bubbles burst there than at the London Stadium, once again it turned into a bit of a sprint but Sharjah tanked through it and has that little turn of foot on that ground. We all know he loves that race and the betting was a total sham and not based on past form at all. Fair play to him, he will be a player again come March.
