I think it depends whether you actually fancy her to win it or not come March if she were to line up.

I would take Epatante all day so ew at 7/1 just wouldn't interest me really at this stage.

If she wins the ICH well Kev and they confirmed Churdle she'd go around 4/1. Does that help ? I suppose if you don't fancy her to win whatever the outcome of the ICH then I wouldn't bother.

I think I've been fairly consistent all season, I don't think she'll win it BUT I think her ability alone means she will be 'in the mix'.... I can't say confidently 3 horses would finish ahead of her, and as a chump that likes each way, I'd be wanting her backed.

At the moment (after some back and forth) all I have is a win only free bet or two, where she's an insignificant winner... however, I've got a few weeks before I need to think about it properly.

I would want 10s NRNB to be backing her ew for some slight value , as she could well run into a place but can't see her having the pace to beat an Epatante or even an in form Sharjah.

Whereas a 5/1 ew with for example a BDD in a mres hurdle I could see her winning it and not being out of a place so I think that then at a shorter price would represent value ew.

The ICH last year was shite. Sharjah underperformed, the rest of the field weren't great and she's just won. I'd be surprised if it weren't a stronger race this year.

Oh I dunno, she'd be favourite to beat Sharjah wouldn't she? Her ability puts her in with a chance of that. (I've backed Sharjah every year, I do like him) but she's entitled to be fav if they were in a match? (thinking out loud)?

Yeah you are right in that a 7/1 each way bet 1/5 isn't going to make a big difference to anyones week really.... it's probably why I've not really bothered doing anything yet with her.

If the ICH does look really weak, I might back her with 365 and hope she contracts and assess again later.... there may be an angle there....but run the risk of losing the cashout (like last year...with the 40s!)

I personally don't think the ICH will be hard to win as I don't think many of the Irish big guns (are there any ) will run in it. Therefore, I'd take the 20's now as it won't be available when she's odds on in a couple of weeks time. I can't say any fairer than that.
