That would account for the below par run then. But at her projected possible best she would be only 1 1/2L ahead of Silver Streak. I still think that Saldier and Sharjah can beat her.

The price for Saldier today just looks the wrong price IMO. I’d have priced him up shorter than Sharjah, yet he’s comfortably bigger across the board.
I love the way he jumps and travels. I knows he’s fragile but he’s laughed at Sharjah LTO on debut in a Grade 1 and I am fully expecting the same today.
I think 10/1 EW is a superb price. I think he’ll win, or go close, and really enter the frame for this as a leading contender, just as he did last year.

Runs well after long breaks, did the same in 2019. Mullins has said there is no more he can do at home with him so you have to expect he is ready for the run.
Just hoping for a good run today and he comes out the race well to prepare him for March. As long as he isn’t disgraced in defeat

He won well coming off the pace in the Morgiana - Aspire Tower and Petit Mouchoir will set a decent tempo today and he'll aim to beat them late.
I thought Saldier won the Morgiana readily and dispatched of Sharjah with no great trouble, so the price discrepancy is a question mark.
He clearly runs well fresh and attacks his hurdles like a proper Champion Hurdler should. Patrick Mullins normally rides Sharjah so I probably read too much into Paul being up top, but I know which jockey I'd rather have and its certainly Paul.
