Personally I think he is a decent bet tomorrow and the 11/4 was very generous; happy to be wrong but equally happy to be smug mop up , I think I would kick my self if he wins and havnt backed. Probably not best posted here as I won’t be backing him for the CH but do think he will get a few people back excited again tomorrow and the double seems very fair although I still think it’s a bet destined for nowhere as eppy would spring of his heels two out and rest is history IMO

goshen is just hard to ignore despite any facts around weight and age cause we've never seen him extended over hurdles and the nagging doubt remains he could be special.

I dont think aspire tower or allmankind ran their races in the triumph but I've said that before about horses that have run against a real good one and just got out of their comfort zone. they ran badly because they were taken off their feet.

I really hope he shows us something special tomorrow

Nowhere for Goshen to hide tomorrow given how bullish connections seem to be. Gary has jizzed the equivalent of Goshen's weight allowance today waxing lyrical about him in the media

I’m on the fence with Goshen, I’ve only covered him as a back up in the Churdle because there are so many stats against him and a big lingering doubt whether he is as good as he appeared before falling in the Triumph but I do hope he bolts up tomorrow just so it kicks off massively on this forum
I think the Goshen fan club is still in a minority but if he wins well tomorrow I can see a few defectors crossing the divide, come on Goshen....cause chaos!’

If he wins tomorrow any value will be gone. So it's now or never for people on the fence.

I see song for someone beating Goshen even though he’s giving him 6lbs. Goshen was about to be the most impressive Triumph winner since Our Connor yes, but he fell at the last so therefore he didn’t. Aspire tower wasn’t right on triumph day so I wouldn’t delve into that form too deep. First time stepping into open company will find Goshen out. SFS is the improving horse and I like the way he can stay over a further distance. It sounds harsh but I don’t trust Moore to train him on from a juvenile into open company.

Espoir Dallen raced against one horse rated over 150 that wasn't aged 4 in his champion hurdle season, and that was a 10yr old Wicklow Brave.

Katchit won a four runner 4yr old handicap hurdle, then came 3rd in the fighting fifth, and then second to Osana beaten 8l in the international, before winning a weak Kingwell and overturning the form with Osana in the Champion hurdle itself.

Another very good juvenile winner Our Conor went off 5-1 for the Champion before dying, and he'd been beaten on the flat off a mark of 86, then defeated twice by the Fly.

Terrific analysis Q - I just hope its big boom or big bust re Goshen tomorrow. Anything in between will be so disappointing.

Thats like getting within a length of Red Rum at Aintree.

Cant compare OC to Goshen at all unless he beats Eptante pre festival.

I think Silver Streak is the best priced horse racing tomorrow, he’s consistent and very competitive in this field, I think he should be half the odds he is given his previous form and he will be my play in the race.
