Hello Fat Jockeys,

            • The International, I think the best bet here is Stormy Ireland to place and/or without the two at the head of the market

I think there could be a battle up front, and have a feeling Stormy will be ridden to place

Dont mind backing an ex-mullins mare over 2 miles hurdles

She was never a chaser, she's a staying 2 miler, speedy over 2 and a half miles but does see it through as well in more competitive races over this trip. 2 miles over the new course will suit.

44/1 at the moment on the exchange!!!! I think we need to remind ourselves, this isn't a champion hurdle, it has plenty of Grade 2/handicappers pretenders. Yeah yeah, I know these silks havent performed much since arriving at Nichols, but Stormy Island for me was the one with the most reliable form

Really to splash some credits on her to place, a few on the W/O market, and I'll throw a cheeky chip on her to win

Or a Grade 3 or Listed race either.
3lbs of his 6lbs is WFA. Goshen that is

Enjoyed that TOTG, thanks for posting. Judging by the weather, it must have been recorded a while ago and before the flat runs.

It'd be hard for anyone not to cheer Goshen, the Moore's and the owner, after watching that.

                    • Goshen has been well punted over night and the price looks very defensive. Surely the bookies will be out to get him this morning.

Brilliant piece. Watching that, you can't help but want Goshen to succeed for them and especially Jamie.

                        • Agreed with all of the above comments - great piece on Goshen above and whilst I cannot have him for the champion hurdle, I will be cheering him on today to keep the dream alive for the Moore’s.

                          • Funny how I feel so sorry for Jamie Moore but have the complete opposite feelings for Ruby Walsh for his falls on Annie Power and Benie.

Thats like getting within a length of Red Rum at Aintree.

Cant compare OC to Goshen at all unless he beats Eptante pre festival.
They were both tactical races that year. Over in Ireland, as they can often be. The thirteen year old Captain cee bee was only a length back in third and the eventual champion hurdle winner Jezki was last of only four runners.

if Goshen wins today he's achieved more IMO.

                              • Lots of rain overnight and into this morning at Cheltenham. The ground will be very testing which should also favour Goshen.
