Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

I think I might be right in saying only Iroko has bettered that first time up this season for novice chasers?

Hermes Allen, Facile Vega, Inthepocket, Il Etait Temps too. Maybe more as well. Still a very good effort for the reasons you state though.

Gaelic Warrior and Hermes Allen were in the 150s. Matata got a 149 who isn't really mentioned here.

Yeah, I remembered him and a few other after and was too lazy to edit Now I see I'm going to have a hundred replies to my poorly thought out post

Even so, for a third ever start under rules a 149 is top number to be posting.

Yep for sure. FAF posted 150 on debut then 157 so he's up there too

Been a few, obviously Gaelic Warrior 158, Facile Vega 155, Hermes Allen 155, Il Etait Temps 153, Iroko & Inthepocket 150.

Really impressed with Indiana Dream, like you say, only his third life time start. Though, if looking towards the BANC then I personally prefer a more 'battle-hardened' horse who has gained plenty of racing experience as the race can be gruelling. Also, it was the kind of day at Navan where a few horses looked impressive (Jigoro and Caldwell Potter in the maiden hurdles, My Trump Card in the bumper) so I wonder just how much conditions had to play in the overall impression of the results and whether we should be a little wary going forward. Still, look forward to seeing if he can follow up what is a very good RPR given.

Stay away fay beats a very good prospect giving him 3lb and gets 150

                Not sure I'm seeing that

The 2 mile novices in britain are useless

The 3 mile novices look like Cheltenham grade 1 contenders
Which is why I'm very wary of any ratings and tend to rely on what my eyes see .

Not for me, he's always been one of those cliff horses for me which aren't quite up to grade 1 standard and I thought from his bumper days he'd want a trip and NHC will be right up his street

He simply has to go to that race
