Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • He's got an engine alright but seemed to attack his fences. I wonder if he wouldn't be better suited to the BANC?

He settled much better today, maybe just needed fences to bring the best out of him.
That was quiet impressive for a debut.
Could probably run in either race going on that today.
      Cash out options.

….another where post-race comments will be of interest.

Firms have cut him more for the NHC. He’s generally 20-1 BANC.

Where was this? Sat here with Racing TV Extra on and not a peep.

                  • Are we not forgetting the owners? They probably would like a runner on the Wednesday?

I'll be cheering him on in the NHC. He's made for that race. If only they'd price him up !!!

Live interview (or possibly a little delayed) on racing tv (not extra) no idea why it wasn’t shown on extra.

there’s now a different interview on the Irish racing website ….more comments about being a stayer and very significantly a reference to being behind the bridle. I’ll try and copy it but I’m a Luddite so will do my best

                        • “It was the perfect introduction, he relaxed and jumped well. I didn't have to be too hard on him but going around on that ground will take a bit out of them.

“He raced properly with me, he was too keen in Cheltenham but I lit him up early. Today was just about getting him to do things right and he did - he couldn't have done any more.

“He has loads of scope and he was a joy to ride. Hopefully this will be his year. He is a stayer and is racing like a stayer now, he's nearly behind the bridle.”

I watch extra cos they often skip the interviews on the main channel to take in a donkey race at Blackpool. Now they've reversed form today and decided to offer no coverage on Extra

….Lads/Cor were stand-out at 16s for a while but have just cut to 12s, which still looks about the best available.
