I guess this comes with the caveat of possible recency bias and the lockdown background but I really can't remember a festival that I have looked forward to more than this one.
Three or more novice chasers that could go on to be giants of the sport, a fascinating Champion Hurdle, the decider in the Stayers, not to mention the scenes if Paisley mows 'em down again. The coronation of Chacun v the last hurrah for Altior? A three time gold cup winner? The three corner fight for the Ballymore. The list goes on. Will the Irish handicap tax be enough this year?
It's been noticeably quiet on the major non runner front so far, let's hope it stays that way.

I agree.
It looks at this stage to be one of the best in a while.
Could still go tits up though.

Anyone think Petit Mouchoir or Jason The Militant book a Champion Hurdle spot today?
With the County entry, wouldn't be staggered by a below par run from PM today.
Jason The Miltant's decent and close up 3rd in the Morgiana doesn't look as good as it could have done, as both Abacadabras and Saint Roi have failed to win (or look like winning) since!
I do think he's probably a good bet today, getting 1 lb from a 10 year old....
In fact, on that basis I'm going to take the 66/1 NRNB today with PP in the hope he wins and shortens and gives me the option - or gets beat and doesn't run?
*I will have a book on the race, so I know this won't entice everyone/anyone
....and actually Petit Mouchoir is 100/1 NRNB and the same arguement can be made.
