Whenever he talks one up, they usually flop?
That is so much speculation on my part
14s NRNB hasn't tempted me yet for Buveur D'air.... given some of his 'prep' runs I'm not sure he's one that'll be fully wound up on return.... you'd think March or nothing for him to be on top form?
Definitely a horse I want to back, but can stop myself.

They've just cut the 20s when I had him in the bet slip.

Abacadabras seems and odd selection @ 16 when Aspire Tower can be backed at fractionally shorter (14/1). I'd be opting for the latter were I starting from scratch now. AT beat Aba fair and square first time up in good fashion, then smashed him the other day. Looks a better horse this season and Segal is basically clinging to that Supreme run to make his case.

Clinging to the Supreme run is the angle, but one I'd chance. If Shishkin is a superstar, Abacadabras must be better than he's shown? Lots needs to go right for him to win though. I feel like he could get a bit of momentum and shorten to a price where he's just a terrible bet on what he's shown so far this season alone.
Aspire Tower is progressing the right way, the problem with him is he's just so easy to poke a hole in, and if you mention him you have to mention Goshen, and byu the time that's done you go back to Epatante because how can you fancy Goshen

The supreme angle is very fair, and it might mean he's better than he's shown so far (and is therefore value), or it might mean he hasn't progressed in open company. I think its incredibly hard to know which one to think, and its a big question mark now reflected by probably the right price. I really think he could go either way.
I don't think (could be wrong) the same difficulty applies to Aspire Tower though. I think he's shown clear improvement, certainly past many of those he was running against as a Juvenile. Haha yeh Goshen wont carry a bean of my money for this (but that seed of doubt is planted where he would have demolished AT last year)

I like both but for different reasons. It's a bit like a 28 runner handicap and just backing one from each side of the draw because you have no idea and this game is too hard

whilst I am hoping for a turn around in Aba’s season, I just think Sky and Sporting Life are trying to entice people in to parting with their hard earned!
