I just hope it doesn't fall apart like the Apples Jade, Buveur & Laurina year.

He has some speed, but not got the class to sustain it IMO.
As the horses he finished close up to have shown.
      Might not even travel.
It was bizarre tactics on PM today actually. I fully expected PM to blast off and set the good pace with JTM being asked to try and pass. As it was PM sat 2 lengths off JTM and then tried to beat him in a sprint... very strange (or not - depending on whether they intended on winning or not).

      • ComplyOrDie do you think Goshen will handle good to soft ground?

I don't want to make pre excuses, but I think he's more effective with cut in the ground, not necessarily real heavy but soft would be ideal. Should still be cut in good to soft but whether enough, I honestly wouldn't like to say.

So excited to find out though

I hope it doesn't fall apart as well but it would soften the blow if i had the winner !

He is also one of the oldest and age generally is a factor.

Since 1927 only 2 ten year olds have won the CH and these were Hattons Grace in 1950 (who then successfuly defended as an 11YO in 1951) and Sea Pigeon in 1980. Don't ask me how many failed but its a much higher number than those that won and reputationaly IMO Buveur D'air is not in the same league as Sea Pigeon.

Could every well have decent quick ground, it will be the quickest the field has ran in this season

race pace is going to be strong, we’re going to see the majority struggling from a fair bit out

Good to know. Think JTM will run a big race.

                            • I think if the ground is good to soft at worse then Silver Streak will run a big race

Each Way @ 16-1 [William Hill] or 14's NRNB

I think AT could finish 2nd to honey. I'd imagine AT will set the pace up perfectly for honey.
