Interesting to note the Donnelly horses entries...
- GDM (Supreme + Bally)
- Lecales Art (Bally only)
Lecales is entered up for a Bally trial at Cheltenham and GDM had entries in 2m and 2m 6f at DRF
Different trainers and we know they will leave it to trainers as Supreme last year showed
However, can't rule out the possibility that GDM will go Supreme and Lecales does look like Bally (if good enough). This is clearly going to depend what happens at DRF and Willie's other horses for each after that
NRNB for Lecales Bally is 20s and not much worse than rest, but GDM not yet great price NRNB for Supreme, so maybe better to wait or take 33s with cashout
And for the really adventurous that like their related double scenarios, its over 1000-1 for GDM / Lecales......which i think a cheeky tiny bet on is good fun (back enough of these scenarios and a few will come in)
Ganapathi also has entries for all three novice events. Obviously also with WPM so would expect Ganapathi and GDM to be split up surely? Owners not against running two in same race but surely Willie will want otherwise.
Would like to see Lecale's Article run well at chelt this weekend to asses after his first run - I know a few mentioned the tail swishing.
Personally would see GDM in Ballymore, with possibly LA - Ganapathi in the Supreme.
EDIT: just seen LA not declared for Sat

Have they said that ?
Noticed he's in the Ladbroke at Dublin.
If he's trying to win that then he's going to be very high in the county weights for a novice.

No, but the likely only option isn't it? 2 and 2 together, and all that
I think they'll take a win at Dublin or at the festival, so you'd expect him to be running on merit, but a strange one if that is the case not to leave him in the Supreme then.
The drf entries were done a while ago, it could be that he’s picked up an injury. It doesn’t make sense not giving him a supreme entry if he’s fit and well

I’ve taken the 25s on flinteur for this tonight with cash out. Nobody really knows what’s going to turn up tomorrow. Overhyped (probably) because of his brother or the real deal? Be interesting to watch tomorrow. His price for tomorrow is ridiculously short and unbackable for me, however if he does bolt up then he becomes the hype horse for the supreme and could go single figures purely on the hype.

Annoyingly, that's probably right.
I've long been of the opinion Flinteur Sacre won't be winning the Supreme... yet, that doesn't mean to say you can't profit off him, as the "hype" will make sure he's shorter than he deserves to be.
Personally though, I hope he's beaten or is unimpressive and punishes what I'd consider "lazy punting" based on hype and trainer comments. His actual form no where near justifies his price.

I think he stands a good chance of being beaten today. The price about him for today is ridiculous given what he’s achieved. Second favourite should be a lot closer for me

Have to admit I’ve done the same Penzance.
Obviously been far too much hype because of who his brother is but I’d be confident he has a decent level of ability. Today won’t prove that should he win, but it’s a step in the right direction.
The fact Nicky doesn’t seem to have a standout Supreme runner with Dusart being injured and he normally has more than 1 decent novice for 2 miles!
As has been mentioned elsewhere, I feel similar that we haven’t seen this race/market properly yet and agree imo there will be one or 2 yet to come and make a proper shake up of this race.
Just getting round to reading the threads, as have just added Flinteur Sacre myself, for reasons in my diary, but pretty much agree with what has been said on this thread too. He's likely to shorten plenty, due to connections etc... should he win today, so seemed a no brainer with cash out available. Just got to hope he gets the job done today now.
I might even add him myself just because the angle for him to gain momentum and shorten is just so obvious.... and I can make a call on his chances with a lot more information about the likely field and then start slating him again
