Gaelic warrior obviously must have been extremely impressive when schooling over fences. I think this helps figure out where willies chasers may go now. FTF turners and nick rockett NHC would be my opinion at this stage

Yes I just managed to get out. I’ve got Twitter alerts set up on my phone for the main racing Twitter pages, so I got out of everything fortunately. Definitely worth doing however annoying it is sometimes, especially at this time of year. Also managed to nab 16/1 BANC for GW, and 33/1 FTF, and in a double too.

I know we’ve got an OFTS whatsapp thread - would it be worth us having one for major news like this?

Not at all surprised that Gaelic is going chasing. As I’ve said before, I think Willy made some strange comments post race at punchestown. At York, joe chambers said that chasing was very much still in the table for him.

With the FTF chasing news and if he does well i could see JP and Henry trying to make Inthepocket an Arkle horse with FTF and Corbett for the middle distance to 3m horses.

i half thought this with Henry loving an Arkle horse but to me Inthepocket could improve over middle distance and i did have a free bet on him for the Turners so i’m not so sure after the news today!

Any reason why everyone seems to think GW will be going BANC especially with FTF possibly going that way? Would he not fit nicely into the Turners if both Mister Policeman and Vega are Arkle bound? That would add weight to Champ Kiely being Willie's NHC horse perhaps.

If I remember right, it was said here before this years festival that they see him as a three miler and were worried about the trip of the ballymore and were hoping for soft ground. Given that the turners trip is even shorter than the ballymore, you'd be inclined to think that they'd want to start running him over his ideal trip now and not spend another season messing about over a trip that they see as too short for him.
