Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • Knappers Hill debut over fences today .
Possibly one of interest for the Turners?
    33 available.
    Anyone got a strong opinion?

That if Nicholls thought he was going to be a top chaser, capable of winning at a festival, he'd have not kept him over hurdles for a second season?

That's not a strong opinion at all, it's a total guess

Is he not PN's highest rated Hurdler?

Haha, that might be a total guess, but I get what you say.
He will be 8 next March, not a bad age for a Turners and plenty of race experience behind him.
If he takes to fences he could be very interesting, stays well.

pretty sure he is, although not a great deal of competition there

You'd think 8 would be a good age,but only one 8yo,Samcro,has won in 13 runnings. 7yos hold sway with 9,followed by 7yos with 3,so a short hurdling career would seem to be an advantage.

                Yeah that would make sense.
Im just thinking if he were to produce a fair round of jumping, his age and his campaigning so far would not put me off.

I agree, despite the stats I've backed Champ kiely (8yo),but he's only had one season hurdling.

                  • Knappers Hill seemed to hang to the right most of the way round

                    Cost him the race

                      Not sure about that?

                      Fitness?
                      A better ride from Skelton?
                      Better jumping?
                      Better horse?

From watching that race, to say it's because Knappers Hill jumped right as the reason beaten is a bit of a stretch?

                      Neither are relevant for Cheltenham

                      • The Skelton horse showed he had more experience over fences and won the race fair and square.
I was quiet impressed with KH jumping overall, and he will certainly come on from that.
Right now I think it would have to be an average at best Turners for him to figure.
                        Maybe it will be !!

                              Jumping was fine

His head carriage the entire way round looked dodgy

Got absolutely no chance at cheltenham
