Willie not being sure what to do with SG suddenly makes a lot of sense after that.
He was fine.
Hate races like that though. His backers will say 'only one mistake I am happy' and his opposers will say 'likes to leave his hind legs in a fence doesn't he' and both groups wouldn't be wrong.
Just a case of need to see more.

Was hoping Largy would be ridden out at the end to see how far he was beaten by to give a rough guide to see how Sir Gerhard is compared to Gentlemansmansgame but disappointed to see he was eased after jumping the last

He seemed to jump very low to my eye, which probably attributed to the mistake at the third fence.
Was then very slow at the next fence, probably because of what happened the fence before.
Thought once they turned for home he jumped the last 3 nicely and pulled away as expected.
Not sure where that leaves him in all honesty, would much rather see another run as Lobos says and think he needs another prior to a novice chase at the festival.
