Does any one know when & where the qualifiers are scheduled for the Pertemps this season?? I can only find a list of qualifiers for 2019/2020.

        * I just read-read your opening post sorry, no programme has been produced yet for this season

Pertemps is my favourite handicap, always fun watching those qualifiers where your horse is held up last then whipped the f*ck out of to grab sixth

            :

watching the jockeys try their best to get as inconvenienced as possible and taking the scenic route with half a mile to go before running on for 5th or ideally 6th!!

Haha yeh 6th at Leopardstown is the new winner of that race. Bookies should offer special 6th place finish odds

In my opinion that's a very good sign for him to be a handicap prospect for Gordon. Hopefully some other very good horses entered?

                        This is good news!

Mentioned him in the handicap thread, one I was waiting on!

Nothing sexy, Go Another One rated 145, is 8lbs higher rating than TBO, but has to give him 4lbs (and has been chasing).

Gordons got a 7lb claimer on TBO.

IMO from what Gordon's been saying about TBO (unlucky at Cheltenham, my handicap horse for the season, Pertemps/Coral Cup, could win a decent pot in Ireland first), I think he has little chance of staying in the 145 or lower rating for the Martin Pipe, one good performance/win in Ireland is going to test that number straight away.

So he's probably looking 145+, and Pertemps/Coral Cup, and not running with the breaks on all season.

Is not a Pertemps qualifier is it?

I think I'm going to back him regardless at 25/1 for the Pertemps.
