I'm with you on the logic that those running this time of year generally won't be his best. And haven't got either of those for any race anyway but...
For bumper runners out this early it could suggest they're going hurdling this season? Or does that just make sense in my head.

Think it's a BHA/UK rule though, not sure on IRE
