Regarding Willie keeping his top team back for November/December seasonal debuts: Although that has usually been the case Champ Kiely (3rd in the Bally) made his hurdling debut at Galway last July and Easy Game did the same in 2018 before finishing an unplaced second favourite (as Willie's number one dart) in the Ballymore with Ruby on board.

So You Oughta Know's appearance tomorrow may not be that big a negative - specially if he can improve significantly on his 128 debut rpr.

As you say Exar Essay, the 33-1 does stand out particularly as PP make him a 12-1 shot.

I'm on board and sorely tempted to top up before tomorrow. Might delay the decision and wait to see how strong he is in the market.

Aurora Vega out of today's bumper. You Oughta Know now a much shorter price to win today and still 33-1 with 365 - so now could be the time to strike!

            • Pretty decent performance by You Oughta Know I thought.

Giving weight away to four previous winners and not being seriously put under pressure.

But 365 remain unmoved on 33-1.

Inclined to let this one run to see how things pan out later in the season.

I’ll do as you are, but I was less impressed. looked workmanlike to me. Can see why others prefer him for the AB now.

                    • Aye, I wasn't particularly impressed with that. Had hoped for more. Shame Aurora Vega was withdrawn as well.

Doesn't look like a Supreme type though if looking for a positive for the Ballymore bets

                        • William Hill have Cheltenham TWAR markets up now, they are very limited in terms of what horses they are listing odds for but it's a start.

Not allowed them in multis as per standard with WH

….thanks for the heads-up, I imagine they’ll be popular when ‘double odds’ offer is on.

You wear it well @12/1 the only one at the moment that I'd consider and I'd probably still wait for the next double odds boost for it

I've also heard from a reliable source that his debut is likely to have flattered him somewhat. Happy to discuss detail via pm.
