Especially when you could have used Redicean & Master Blueyes.

Tritonic was a lot better flat horse, and has more stamina than all the horses King has sent here previously.
Not getting lured in by his specifically is the point though.

Whatever won the Adonis, Gordon has
one or two that could have done the same IMO.

Those two popped into my head, they were exciting.

Tritonic was too, I just think this year they're behind GE.

Is their seriously a suggestion that being impressed with Tritonic yesterday, and thinking he could win the Triumph, should be reasoned as some sort of bias towards uk horses??!!!
        Not from me.
But some will back him for that reason.
        Sadly, that's a fact.

Went to Scotland recently and there were signs up in some car parks saying NO ENGLISH PARKING HERE !
Like apartheid all over again, but for parking spaces

          Yeah both

Weren't my only darts though, but Beltor in particular I thought was a machine.

Solo does feel the same because of the price collapse, not sure why Q doesn't think that's relevant.

Spot on, I never felt unpatriotic screaming Baracouda home and we all have our own views about the French...

Price and value is a different matter.
And I agree that people shouldn't get carried away as there have been precedents in the past, which is what you were saying I think.
But this is the case with all trials for big races at the festival.
Especially the ones that include recency bias.

Your opinion (which I agree with but probably wouldn't be as strong on) that a couple of Elliot's horses could have replicated the performance of Tritonic yesterday.
              Is simply opinion.

I just think that any comparisons don't hinder or enhance this horses chances.

              • Loved how Tritonic finished off his race yesterday.

Reminds me so much of ZARKANDAR in 2011. Should relish the hill.

Do they?! English form is constantly crabbed on here, and with plenty of justification

I would have thought that was self explanatory CAT.

No not really, certainly not the first part of your post anyway..

                        • I can't say I've ever seen a bias either way on here. I just see poeple debating horses they like or don't, wherever they're from.

Maybe the bias is with those that perceive it's there?
Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

                            • I think Quilixios is the play and Tritonic will be shown to be a mug bet. So there we are.

There’s as firm a hint as your likely to get in the Boodles thread that Quilixios ends up there. So you might want to cover if you’ve not already. 9/2 NRNB still about earlier this evening .
