Some posters just have an English horse bias. Sadly, that's the fastest way to the poorhouse at Cheltenham.

I certainly wouldn't be as bullish.
And I have all the horses at the head of the market at big prices.
And they'll likely all get done by something Willie sends,

It still amazes me how much my group of friends tend to favour the UK based horses.
I don't think it's Jingoism so much as lack of knowledge and familiarity on a day to day basis.
If it is Jingoism or some sort of false pride then it serves them right.

You can take offense on behalf of Alan King if you like, but I could slip Willie Mullins name in and I'd feel the same this season.
Getting wet over any juvenile horse not trained by Gordon Elliott, this season, is I'll advised ... imo.
Doesn't even mean they can't win, just don't think anyone should get excited
And i do get excited when i see performances i enjoy watching at times, yesterday was one of those times.

Only a fool would do differently.
Is their seriously a suggestion that being impressed with Tritonic yesterday, and thinking he could win the Triumph, should be reasoned as some sort of bias towards uk horses??!!!

Especially when you could have used Redicean & Master Blueyes.
Tritonic was a lot better flat horse, and has more stamina than all the horses King has sent here previously.

Hugely disappointing to see this forum going down the British Irish road now. I have witnessed other forums do this and it never adds value and is pretty divisive. It has been hovering in the background for a little while imo and it was only a matter of time before it appeared. I hope it gets put back in its box very quickly.

The Solo comparison is a nonsense in many ways. Aside from the price collapse in a race that may not have had much strength in depth.
The price for Tritonic may be too short, but as to his chances ?
That remains to be seen.
Its obviously not a given that he will flop like Solo did at Cheltenham.
This could easily happen with Zanyhir.
