I think fences are only half the problem with Itchy Feet, and Olly Murphy has been getting his trip wrong with intermediate trips. Against Imperial Aura (163) at Ascot he makes 5 mistakes that cost him at least a length. 2 out and he's 8L back, and loses 5L running on past Real Steal (163). As I've noted, vs Dashel Drasher he made a load of mistakes, to the point where I was surprised Gavin persisted. He was 15L back 2 out, then goes down 2L to a horse that's won since.
All his best work this season has been at the end of his races which just screams 'give me further'. He was a good hurdler so I am really quite confident of a decent showing in the Cleeve, hence why I am keen to know what price we get on place both.

Anyone know if anything has been said around Paisley not running if the ground is too deep on Saturday?
I would be rather concerned if he ran in heavy this close to the festival - could have the same effect that Ascot had on horses last year when pitching up to the festival.

As a mare who would be receiving the 7lb in March; does anyone like Great White Shark for either tomorrow or the Stayers?
Must admit not one I’ve had on my radar but was in the mix in the Martin Pipe last year and has won both the Galway Hurdle (beating Flooring Porter) and the Cesareawitch since then.
PP have at 20/1 NRNB which for me probably isn’t big enough given she is yet to prove up to this class over hurdles but think she is probably a decent bet for tomorrow.

I'm undecided how to play her currently and will make some sort of decision in the morning.

I can see her winning easily tomorrow as don’t really think there is much depth to the race - as in I can’t see any of the others in the places come March. Bacardys is a frustrating horse for me as I’ve backed him each year in the stayers but probably just never quite good enough. (Looking back through his form - didn’t realise he had been to the Fest every year since 2016!)
I've never managed to get Bacardys right, I just feel he was somewhat overrated because of an fairly decent novice hurdle campaign, where he failed to fire at the festival anyway. His form is generally very hit and miss.

Think I'll back Sams Profile for this before he runs today. Bit of a risky one since he's been all over the place recently but hopefully back over hurdles will get him back on track. Pretty sure he was being aimed at this originally last year but had a setback. Don't have access to NRNB right now but think 66/1 NRNB is a good price.
