      Gordon stable tour:

"He hasn't done anything wrong all year and I'm leaning towards running him in the Ballymore. We have the Albert Bartlett as an option as well and I won't nail my colours to the mast just yet. He is not as slow as some people think."

        • You have to weigh up whether he really fancies Hollow Games / Minella Crooner / Gerri Colombe for this

          or

He thinks Ginto will win the Ballymore

          or

He has absolutely nothing in the Ballymore and feels he has to have a runner.

          Or, loads of other combinations

The logical thought would be both right?

EDIT - logical thought COULD be both (i.e. their Bartlett horse doesn't go so they could shuffle the pack.. GJ Bally having been second in the Irish trial, JWM Bartlett). Wouldn't make sense to send GJ Bartlett after non-staying performance at DRF, but maybe he just misses the festival as well and they go with JWM Bally as their only dart now?

Always a possibility. I don't know when Gordon spoke to the RP but he said Albert Bartlett was the plan, that information was out yesterday, so it must have been recent if so.

That said, he also said he's one for next season as he's going to make a chaser, so maybe held back for this.

Grand Jury to the Ballymore, JWM here... seems so simple...

Would assume so as also out of the Ballymore. Highly unlikely any horse which could go to multiple races will be scratched from just one at this stage.
