"I'm a complete muppet, and I got that horribly wrong. Clearly Grand Jury would be better over two and half on better ground, and I should listen to what literally the rest of the world thinks and run Journey With Me in the Bartlett"
Well at least that what I think he should say!
It literally made no sense, did it. Must be aiming for the Pipe or something.
Had a pretty quick p2p win.
Won a bumper looking quick enough.
Won a 2m hurdle showing a decent enough level of speed.
Got done for stamina over 2m4f in the Lawlors.
I know let's stick him in the 2m6f race at the DRF *facepalm emoji*
Was looking for some value in this as it seems wide open with no standout after the weekend and landed on Green Book at 66-1 with betfair/PP. Was a 2 mile plus flat horse (form ties in with stag horn) and won at the weekend in the 3 mile handicap hurdle at Sandown so is one of the few in the betting who's proven he stays the distance.
Need to watch Minella Crooner back - the first race over the weekend seems a long time ago now!
He's priced as if he's won it isn't he? The extra 2 furlongs looking like it'd have been to his advantage, but is it that straight forward?
Second fav, but the horse than beat him available at a bigger price? Definitely not a price I think has much juice in it but do need to go back and take a proper look!
Kev, I have backed Crooner for this but as you say it's not cut and dried, two things he has to polish up his jumping but the long run between the last two should favour him more.
It's been a long time since I managed to transfer my idea of the winner into reality.

I think they'll have him closer to the pace at Cheltenham. In his debut, he was leading initially before JWM took it up and then raced prominently. In his win over 3m he was prominent again. On Saturday they changed tactics and he was at the rear. He was the only one to race in the rear and make inroads to the leaders.
I can see the angle as I only have him and Stag Horn now for this race unless JWM turns up and happy to leave it at those.
Just been thinking about this race again and with Grand Jury showing he doesn't stay and JWM (sadly) looking more likely for the Ballymore, I've come back to Shantreusse again for this race. He powered away at Cork last time on heavy ground and looked to have the beating of Mahler Allstar before he made a mistake.
With the ones I mentioned likely not running here, there must be a good chance he'll be Henry's main dart now (with Rachael riding?). He's been cut a bit recently but I still think 33s NRNB is a nice enough price.
As per the usual brilliant work of Saxon Warrior has noted that Journey With Me is also entered in the 3m race at Clonmel.
Wait for him to be pulled out of the race at Naas and all hell to break loose on here
I hope he is pulled at Naas but also noticed that his other potential 3m performer Shantreusse is also entered. He’s already won over 3m so I think that’s how they’ll be kept apart, unfortunately.
