Melon was giving him 8 pounds. How much was notebook giving him? Also jockey lost his irons on fakir against notebook.
Hard to factor the irons bit but Notebook gave Fakir 7lb, and a three length beating, and seemed to be holding it quite fine.
But Melon's Cheltenham form brings him right into it.
But the 13 fences in the arkle will play to Notebook's strengths also.
cant see how he'd have him covered tbh. Think Notebook is the real deal, and still value if you havent backed him. I'd be half inclined to look at the champion hurdle with Melon, given whats just happened with Klassical Dream
Haven’t heard anything but I’d be very surprised if she ran in this. Back hurdling or possibly even miss Cheltenham altogether now surely?
Hopefully stayers hurdle. Imo.
Could go for the mares but they've stormy ireland and I'm sure willie would be easily pleased to go elsewhere having BDD.

I’ve watched the race a few times now and Notebook jumps out to his right a fair amount. He got away with it but at Cheltenham in very fast run race he’ll have to be better than last time. Couldn’t have him myself and would fancy Fakir to reverse form. Melon is very interesting and is waaaayyyyyyyy overpriced.

noticed the jumping myself.
Have them all backed at big odds so happy if they fight finish out, although i'd prefer notebook

Hard to back her for anything with her bleeding, but think you mentioned you got a huge price which is fair play and obviously worth chancing.
Bapaume is a dark horse for this. Just hope they drop him back in trip nto.
Ruby called him out for this on the latest RTC and said he’d improve for the drop down in trip. He seemed to enjoy it out in front last time and there are too many positives for him here (including good festival form) not to interest me at the price. Taken a chance at 25s ahead of hopefully a good run on Sunday.

See he’s been taken out on Sunday but still of interest over the trip IMO.
Surprised they're persisting with Tornado Flyer at this trip. I'm on for the JLT from early season (for which the 33s that is still available is way too big in my view) but I've had to cover at 25s for the Arkle before the race on Sunday as I'd kick myself if I'm wrong and he turns out to be a 2 miler. I don't think he's top of the Mullins pile but there's lots of juice in his price considering that we're hardly falling over ourselves for star quality in the novice chases.
I've added Dunvegan at 40/1 for this with B365. He's dec'd up Sunday at Naas and if he beats the Mullins arrows the price will be long gone. He jumped lovely at Punchestown on his first start over fences getting a good tow into a hot paced race from the nutcase Breaken, he was readily closing in on the Mullins runner and looked to have him covered anyway even before he fell.
A truly ran 2m looks to be his optimum trip too. He came up short a couple of times last year over further including in the Ballymore having travelled way too freely early on. Seems to be a more settled horse this season and took to fences like a natural so I'm willing to take a chance with the cash out option before Sunday.

will be following you in on this, think he looked awesome the 1st day and after I've watched the race again I agree now that Jack appeared to have Breakens measure and they looked to go a very decent pace from the start.
