I'd agree with that, I do. I'm far more worried about the engine than a horse making a mistake etc... hence why I was so keen on ABP. And still am. But it dosent always work out that way.
I'll be delighted if notebook can go anywhere near. I genuinely think he'll be stuffed 10L plus. Was Worth a shot And no harm done.

I've backed it twice at 50's so i'll be happy with another good jumping display and maybe second place.
More than pleased if we can get Fakir beat, and send him to the JLT. have him for both at 25's. he wouldn't be a bad saver to have on the day in either race.

unfortunately we dont know whats going to make it there yet, so 2nd or even 3rd in this could be bringing in good form. I don't know what it Is scientifically about 2 mile novice chases but the arkle market has always been a killer for injuries. Every year.
Min, sceau royal, cilaos Emery, le richebourg ...... and many more, year after year.
Regardless of my bets, hopefully it's a proper one this year.

She wins; she goes Arkle and goes VERY short. She loses; the winner goes very short she probably goes back to two and a half miles.
I think Olly Murphy will be watching on with interest.

It will depend on the race. If Fakir goes off, pings every fence, gets an early lead and Laurina just fails to claw him back then they would almost certainly re oppose in March in receipt of 7lbs. If Laurina lost a short head, they would almost certainly re oppose in March. The fact their aiming her here vs Fakir tells you the Arkle is primarily in their sights, not the JLT.

I never said she'd never meet Fakir but.....I'm certain Fakir wins this. They are simply testing the waters but he will jump her silly. There is no way she'll go Churdle again either... That is a silly suggestion. She is JLT bound I'm sure if that. Fakir will go off fav at Xmas as well. Flip flopping.
