Ummmmmmmm, very disappointing. Hoping she's not injured but a very late call. Ground maybe ?

        • Hope she is ok, given the trainer has named the Royal Bond on numerous occasions you would have to worry that there has been a set back.

          • I read an article the other day where patrick mullins was talking about the royal bond and he said gordon elliott had a very strong hand and he didnt even give a mention to SWIW. I remember thinking at the time he doesnt seem to rate swiw too highly by the sounds of it, but it seems much more likely now that he knew she wouldnt be running but didnt reveal it.

just found the article again, he actually does say "swiw and n'golo would be the main ones" but he then follows that up with "gordon appears to have a very strong hand though, so it might be a quiet one for us" which I remember thinking was a little strange that he was so dismissive of their own horses when they seem to have an obvious chance.

Maybe thats just how patrick is though?

            • Would have to be a very recent setback as she was all set to run yesterday when he was talking on FFP. Same with Saldier They hardly both had setbacks. Might just have not worked up to what Willie wanted.

Interesting if SWIW is viewed the same level as N'Golo.

Ante post markets don't see it that way.

Disappointing SWIW isn't running Keeps the Ballyadam hype train going I suppose...

I agree. I want Ballyadam to be a star and whilst beating SWIW would have landed him far from that status, it would have inched him a little closer and told us a lot more that Sunday will now

.....Hills go 150-1 (181-1 with boost) to win both.

                              • I think I will add Hook Up @ 50/1 into the book. I think she is well thought of at Closutton. I can see her price halving if she beats the boys tomorrow
