Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

Yeah very much so lol! I’ve already got her backed so I’m going to take it as a positive

That’s not the same thing though is it? They were best price at 6s and trimmed her a point into 5s which is what she is everywhere else. That isn’t something I would read anything into personally. It’s not the same as when they cut one in half and go significantly shortest price like they did with BDD yesterday

              Yes and No.

She was 6's in at least 6 bookmakers last night so they just followed PP in clipping rather than PP coming in line with everyone.

Bit of nothing but just find it odd to clip an injured horse...

Maybe I missed the exact quote but didn’t think she was injured injured more had a small setback. Can understand though why any blue might in those circumstances be a little more unusual. I just think the PP cut is more something to look for when they go significantly shortlist price (or significantly biggest with a push out) on an Irish trained horse, anything else is just standard book keeping.

Whilst we are talking about her - I saw a few specials in the future champions but I read on Twitter that she was out till the spring. I’m pretty sure I read that - I’ll try and find the tweet!

                  • Found it “Hopefully she will be back on the road soon & she will be back in the spring for some of our @IrishEBF_ mares graded hurdles”

tweeted by Peter Roe GM @ Fairyhouse.

he’s not exactly an owner but just thought it was strange how he said spring.

I actually cashed her out last week (only backed at 6s) after she missed the race on Saturday. Certainly in no rush to get back involved on the back of that quote. Sure she is still likely to turn up in March of course

Maybe missing the open grade 1 secures he target as being the mares race, hence the trim?

It certainty would make the target more likely

                            • It’s not a significant injury with SWIW though. Just missing a bit of work, but we can expect her back on track soon unless something else occurs. I’d treat her like any other Cheltenham contender despite her missing the Royal Bond.

                              • Thank you whoever put up Gauloise for this. Not sure what the prices have been for this but got her in a lovely double with Central City tonight @ Kempton. She wasnt even on my radar till the monthly yankee.
