Can you jump as slow as he does and win a GC? He's lost a fair few lengths there at his fences overall.. Has always been his negative, and doesn't look to have improved in that dept yet.

He's got no chance in the GC. Too slow through the air and has to work too hard to keep his position. GDC, Fact to File, Monty's Star, Inothewayurthinkin I'd fancy to beat him this year.

Get him in the National. He'd love it.

Jumps too careful for the Grand National. Let him slog round Chepstow in the mud...

Gerri Colombe's jumping and ability is not something I would knock based off his clear second in last year's GC and other performances. I just hope that big GC effort last year has not affected him this year as today's performance was too bad to be true.

How on Earth Gerri gets love on this forum and Fastorslow gets so little. Tell me more about how FoS doesn't stay, that's my favourite.

Poor from Martin Brassil not to comment on fastorslow’s omission from the King George today. A quick statement on the horse’s wellbeing is all that’s required after saying he was being aimed at the race.

Anyone concerned by the lack of KG entry for fact to file? Willie has block entered everything in his stable capable of running in the race bar him. Setback or am I reading too much into it?

I'd imagine JP's team made that decision.
Willie block enters but JP's horses don't often do that.

Never thought for one second that F2F would go for the KG. I'd be a little concerned re Fastorslow though.

Yeah but most of the ones entered will run elsewhere too it’s the lack of an entry that concerns me. Like quevega said maybe it’s just a jp decision but it’s not like any of them not to keep their options open.

FTF is all good, they do there own race planning for horses unlike other owners.

You have to remember he's only had 4 runs outside of Bumper Races. He's still a work in progress and to throw him into a race like the KG now could do more harm than good.

Reading too much into it I would say
Majority of Irish Gold Cup hopefuls run in Ireland over the Xmas period
