Job done, onto the next day now
Ive cover for both Ryanair and GC
I've no doubt he would probably win the Ryanair unless one or 2 turn up which is debatable
The GC I personally don't think will suit his style of racing, but if he were to win the KG, connections might find it hard turning down the opportunity

He's only 6, going on 7 next festival. Go Ryanair then Gold Cup. Worked for Imperial Commander (won both), Don Cossack (3rd then 1st), A Plus Tard (3rd and 1st). He can bowl out in front in the Ryanair and also get that valuable course experience for a tilt at the GC the following season.

No? He still has to prove it at Grade 1 level but he's doing it well for a young, inexperienced horse.
As an antepost bet it isn't as solid as I'd like as he has lots of options and the trainer talks a fair bit - which is natural (I don't blame him) as he looks an exciting horse for such a small yard.
Just something about the way he communicates that puts me off, from a trust perspective.
For example the pre race comments about the Ryanair being potentially more suitable and then post race suggesting his next race is likely to be over the Gold cup trip.
Don't get me wrong, there's a big difference in the 2 races irrespective of the distance being the same/similar but just seems to suggest some confusion IMO. I accept it could be great race planning and good experience for the Spring though.
But lets not forget his big target last year was the Grand steeple chase and he never got there, as he fluffed his lines in his prep run.
I'm not convinced that the form is as good as it looks also, but I can go along with the argument that it's good enough.
He's the type of horse I would back for sure but probably much closer to the race. And accept a potentially/likely shorter price.
He's not good enough for me to consider him a horse I could back for 2 targets as I rarely do this and am aware I should do it far less than I do, as the odds rarely work out in the long run.
And I'm not interested in an any race bet on a horse like this either as betting horses like him any race rarely offers value. As does most of that market, aside from horses with multiple options.
