Firefox lost nothing in defeat over a trip possibly just too far for him, IMO.
    Yep, would agree with that
    He jumped well.

    • Croke Park only one to take from that IMO.
Not backed any of them though.
all decent enough but not really grade 1 material in the spring
      but its early days.

      • Finished in a bunch

Cant imagine anything from that will be winning at the festival on first glance.

Would have been nice to have had winter ground for this meeting

Do you not think the mare enhanced her Mares Chase chances ?

Was run at a crawl and on this ground surely would have expected Firefox to get his head infront.

Maybe one of those races you just have to ignore, unless Croke Park is winning the Arkle

But the race was run 11secs slower than the hcap chase, pedestrian stuff, Firefox should have had no issue with the trip.

Completely agree with this. She ran a cracker and has a real chance on the Friday. Jumped well and found plenty, albeit the race was run at a bit of a crawl

                Hard to say with her.
They seem to have gone a slow enough or even gallop on that ground so I think Croke Park comes out best as that should not have suited him.
She seemed to be able to go the gallop alright and was outsprinted. very different to her last run.
Heart Wood should have won the race but lost it with the jump at the last (cost me)

She’s been very busy last few months so hope She’ll be put away now for some rest.

It's still 2m4f whether it turns into a sprint or not. You've still got to get home.

He was probably as close as he was because it was run at a crawl. If that was a test of stamina I don't think he hangs in to them tbh!

Finds himself losing to stayers even after a crawl. Not sure why Sam wasn't on him though instead of Keith - not a fan of KOD at all.

I'd doubt giggy were happy letting Sam jock off CP.

                          …from the stable tour;

“She just keeps winning! She runs in a mares’ chase at Clonmel on Thursday. She might not want winter heavy ground, so she’ll probably get a break when the ground gets testing.“

Shecouldbeanything pushed out to 40-1 MC by 365.

He looks an excellent jumper and you'd imagine 2m4f is the absolute shortest trip he'd want. Be much better over 3 miles.

He absolutely winged a few of them. Looked awesome on the side on shots.

                              Jumped like a two miler

Paul seems to have turned him into a right nut job.

He definitely won't be going BANC on that evidence. If good enough arkle, if not then aintree you'd imagine.

Yep I thought he jumped like a 2 miler too
Don’t think they would consider going 3 m with him after watching that
