Will it be slick enough for 2m?
He’s one that I look forward to seeing jump a fence for sure, along with Ballyburn, although seems still not definite that one actually goes chasing.

Is it just me or does Harry Cobden leave too much up to the horse jumping obstacles? I’ve very rarely seen him ever ask the horse for an effort, just seems to let them pop away. Horse didn’t even lift its legs where he came down, I know he’s a novice so they’re learning on the job so to speak but surely asking them up is a good part of their education as well?

Would much rather be backing Caldwell Potter at 20/1 than Slade Steel. Equal rated on Official Hurdle marks though Potter had two less runs and a 2lb higher RPR. He looks a more natural three mile chaser and has always been very well regarded. For a trainer that has won the race three times as opposed to one who has never won it. The current betting suggests that the 3 miler is the more likely target for CP whereas SS is half the price for the Arkle compared to his BANC price.
