If the UK handicapper is consistent he'll add on a bit to them, still leaves them 8-10lbs shy of Sir Gino (164), and he's only had the one start!!
Ile atlantique got 159 rpr

To be honest I don't use the performance ratings an awful lot and you're one of only a couple that bring them up on here so I suspect many don't use them or even know they exist. I always forget to check them on a weekly basis
I should look more often!

Or is that really a 170 ?
would seem high.
If I had to guess I would imagine they've taken the 5lbs into account. Be strange if they hadn't, as they must do it with every other allowance given?

I'm just being old school with his handicap rating as he's only had the one run, but obviously he can run in certain handicaps off that mark if he wants these days,Last edited by Quevega; 6 January 2025, 03:53 PM.

So had they both ran in a handicap the next day then Ballyburn would have ran off 155 and Gino 164 (less allowance of 6) 158.
That's how I see it anyhow.
Obviously hes now 5 anyway.
