  • That Irish Arkle is not great. Can't imagine Firefox is going to turn up, and then it's just Willie vs Willie.

The 2m5f race on the other hand, looks good if they all turn up.

Why do you think Firefox won’t turn up?

Don't know for sure, thought I read something Gordon had said, but now I'm second guessing that

perfect opportunity to get himself a mark for the Grand annual ?
or novice handicap if they decide he needs further again, for the umpteenth time

151 in Ireland, would you think that's a competitive mark (probably going to get the 2-4lb rise in the UK), against mostly hardened handicappers?

Not for me, I'm not even expecting him to get close to Sir Gino, but I'm purely hoping for a place now on him, although I can cash out all my bets if I was that bothered

But who is missing from the entries? Barring Ballyburn then the majority of the principles from Ireland are entered.

Yeah, not a great division, Sir Gino, aside

Yeah, after I typed it I thought about that race against croke and heart wood, and thought his marks a no go.

                    • Impaire is going to beat ballyburn i reckon

I'm not sold on ballyburn as a chaser

But maybe his jumping will look better over further

                        • I’ve backed Impaire Et Passe to beat Ballyburn, can see him turning him over too. Really excited to see how the Flogas unfolds!

                          • The prices on novice chasers for the festival races are extraordinary. As are the prices for the novice hurdlers. Such opportunities to get stuck into massive prices. Others are way over et and short

                            • I fancy impaire to turn ballyburn aswell, if he beats both dancing city and ballyburn then will he likely go to cheltenham? They have mentioned that they fancy aintree and fairyhouse but that could change?
