Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • Stay Away Fay only given an initial RPR of 143. Seems a little low given Giovinco got given the same for unseating his rider at Carlisle.

Iroko already given a 150 for his debut.

Worth noting Iroko’s was 143 on first showing too, so might well be increased.

Thats about right. The only horse in the last decade to run to an RPR out the 140's on debut and win the BANC was Champ. FWIW TOTG ran 143 at Exeter too,

        • Iroko's 150 is a massive overrating as well. They've given him an 8 pound increase for ease of win.

One of the best novice chase debuts I've seen was Monkfish who won with absolute ease and they only have him a 2 pound increase for the ease of the win and a 148 rating. Not sure how they can justify giving Iroko an 8 pound bonus in ratings for ease of victory.

          • As a backer of stay away fay I was really happy to see him win on debut at Exeter, good round of jumping and powered on over the line from the back of last when asked by cobden,

Not so happy to hear what Nicholls has said re his next couple of races, sandown on the 8th of dec followed by kempton on boxing day, surely thats not going to be ideall with only 18 day break between the two races? Sandown will likely be bottomless aswell, if they want another run before kempton surely the 3m novice at Newbury hennesey meeting a week earlier would be a better suit timing wise

Edit, just realised the 3m novice at Newbury has been scrapped doh

He mentioned the Kauto Star for Knappers Hill yesterday also, so whilst he may run 2, he might not.

Onto Kempton now, he's going to take some stopping if theres abit of cut in the ground.

                Looks an absolute superstar

What's the chance they come over for the fez? I'd really fancy him for the BANC

They've mentioned kempton and French GC

The french GC is mid may sooo its possible they do, but I'd like to see some sort of mention of it for him.

                            Yep.

Although he underperformed that day no doubt

But that won't stop me shouting out aloud

I thought that FR GC target was for next year. Not a race many novices would attempt if I’m not mistaken.

He looks a weapon for sure

It’s over the NHC trip tho ….so suggests Browns maybe more likely this year if they go?
