Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

I wouldn't worry about charlie, El Fabiolo is only his reserve anyway, after Appreciate It realised he was 9 years of age and not good enough for an Arkle

    • That form line isn’t great at all, Jonbon clearly ran lbs below where we expect him to be, we all know that

my concern with Jonbon is that I think he has a low ceiling, compared to a horse like El Fab that is still lightly raced and think he could still improve on top of his DRF run

Jonbon will place, but will he win! Struggling to side with him

            El Fabiolo
            Jonbon
            Dysart Dynamo
            Saint Roi

            Are they the only runners?

The 14/1 e/w for Saint Roi surely won't last
Hollow Games NR today. May add to the list of runners here but also has a Grand Annual entry

Can't run in the Grand Annual, so it will be here or nothing

Hollow Games already one I've got e/w at 66/1 but would take the 50/1 if I hadn't...

Them's the rules. If Jonbon wins I'll roll with the punch

I want Dysart, he's my number one, but I think Jonbon & El Fab both go with great chances. Looking forward to the race

I would imagine so, yeah mate.

Hopefully will set slightly slower fractions than at the DRF, and leave something in reserve. The 1f shorter trip will almost certainly suit as will the extra fences, just need the fractions right.

                        • Jonbon is a bit shite isn't he.

He got absolutely destroyed in the Supreme last year..... you can say he was 2nd all you like.... beaten 22L might as well be 22nd. That is being THRASED. He managed to finish 2L ahead of Kilcruit in that Supreme. Kilcruit! Kilcruit isn't even sighted in the Novice Chases this year and won't be winning a handicap either..... awful Supreme.

Constitution Hill thrashing him doesn't take away from him obviously, but he's being massively, massively over rated.

Jonbon over fences has beaten Monmiral, who got beat then by The Real Whacker and then 27L by Gerri Colombe. Is that good?

He's beaten Boothill - who since then has lost to Tommy's Oscar and Solo, and beaten a handicap hurdler Aucinrisque - is that good?

He's then beaten another handicapper easily enough in Calcio - is that good?

In what world is this horse favourite for an Arkle?! When he's up against a that Irish Arkle winner?

Maybe it's because his best piece of form is at Aintree, beating El Fabiolo .... now ignoring how 'unlucky' EF was..... based on chase form this year.... El Fabiolo just has to be clear doesn't he? I feel like Dysart Dyanamo, Banbridge and Appreicate It could have easily done the same as Jonbon so far.

Match bet.... .El Fabiolo beats Jonbon easily, doesn't he?

This is actually perfect, hit the nail on the head.

                            Spot on

                            • I agree, a good round of jumping will see El Fab in the winners enclosure. Might not need to be foot perfect even. I think he’s improving a lot with every run!

                                This is pretty bias shite
You rate el fabiolo but you think the only horse to have beaten him( since joining wpm) is shite
If Jonbon was ridden how kilcruit was in the supreme he wouldn't have been only 2 lengths ahead of him at the end, i think you know this.
Jonbon is unbeaten over fences, you can only beat what's in front of you.
Based on chase form this year, El fabiolo is trained in ireland where the strength in depth is much greater, means it's pretty long odds on the best irish 2 miler would have better form than the best british 2 miler pre cheltenham, no?
