Now I've seen Gavin Cromwell say Grand Annual is most likely as only 1lb higher than in Ireland, I've actually taken the 20/1 NRNB for the Arkle .... in case one of the big ones misses is.

To be honest though, I expect any of the Mullins trio to also be able to scoot away from a handicapper... so we know nothing that we didn't already know...

It's just not a negative... and even if Calico had been walloped, that wouldn't really have been a negative for Jonbon, but it'd wouldn't have been a positive

I’m pretty happy with everything I’ve seen from Jonbon.
Just waiting for the race now to see how it all pans out.

I think Jonbon had been left with work to do when it beat Calico, but I would personally mark that Calico performance up a notch today given he did not jump with much fluency for the first mile and clattered a few.

i personally have Jonbon, EF and DD all covered at double figure prices so don’t mind, but actual preference would be for DD to go off out front and make it a real test with all three jumping the last in a line. No excuses for anyone.
