Isn't Edwardstone more of a speed horse. I'd have thought the old course would suit him better IMO. His defeat by GDM was at Aintree which has that long home straight. I'd lean towards agreeing with Geegees. Probably benefits the running style of Energumene more.

Total runs wise yes but same number of chase runs each and you could say Energumene has more chase experience as Edwardstone has failed to complete twice.

Both horses have been beaten just once in all completed chase starts so something has to give Saturday. What a race !
