A lot are shit but one or two are decent, but a lot of members wouldn't always click on , so your little thread is very useful indeed.
Hard to predict how well he might win but the 40-1 (45's boosted) was one of the fairer quotes. Mainly because of the horses he'd be beating if he did win today.

….definitely, Q, you have to be very selective on those offers & value to one might not be value to others. I wouldn’t have minded taking the 100-1 Noble Yeats & GC.Last edited by Eggs; 3 December 2022, 10:01 PM.

I know in 10 years time I'll remember Shishkin and Douvan as top class horses and need the Racing Post race histories to remember the others.

I'm in the can't get Edwardstone right club as well. Backed him a couple of times as a handicap hurdler in defeat, and then as a late novice chaser I never managed to take to him as a realistic Arkle winner. And then at Aintree I had him as last leg of a decent multi, which must be the only time he's been beaten over fences. Couldn't really have him yesterday either.
That 40s does look decent now mind, and I guess obvious in hindsight.
Although the CC is completely Energumene's to lose still imo, got to be one of the bankers of the week now... so another chance for Ed to prove me wrong.

Did Energumenes Champion Chase form and that with Shishkin not take a little knock yesterday? GDM's performance must have disappointed Willie as well. I wonder if he and Energumene work together. The fact they sent GDM over surely meant they fancied him to run better than that ?

I can’t think right now of a horse that so many have underestimated more, both last season and into this season.
Well imo he can’t be knocked now after that yesterday.
