  • I've made the point before that Bob Olinger comes from a family where his siblings have not had long careers.

        Only need the 3.

Big race... I hope Honeysuckle wins. Better for the sport / festival / day.

        • Can't seem to find a Vauban v State Man match bet. Or a without Honeysuckle market. Anyone? For today not Cheltenham, sorry.

I want to find a way of backing the opinion of Vauban reversing that form but without having to want Honey beat

If Honey wins today that would mean SM and V are not viable challengers to CH….. don’t it?
Personally I think Cheltenham needs a big performance today from either SM or V,or both.

Well it'd depend on the manner of course, but they're open to still be improving by March .... so as long as they're not thrashed, it'd make it more exciting.

If they are thrashed, then fair enough, it's not as exciting.

Do you think we need to see something close to a mid 170 performance? for March?

Paddy Power have a w/o Honeysuckle market.

On the other hand if Honey smashes them then the buildup for the CH would be immense

To me that scenario is the most unlikely.
It would mean that SM and V are rubbish, or that Honey at her age has put in her best ever performance.

Most likely imo is Honey finishes 3rd.
The other two I’m not so sure about because they are improving, well should be, and no way of knowing which level they would both be at.
                      Cant wait for this today.
We should get a good idea what sort of race we will have in March anyway.

…16-1 win today & CH in Hills enhanced section (State Man 9-1).

Appreciate the 'smashing' chucks some subjectivity into the whole debate but...I'm not sure either State Man or Vauban have the actual form in the book to require Honeysuckle to put up a career best to beat them.

I'm aware RPRs may not agree with me

Hope she does. We just need that match up to happen.
