Obviously its short but I don't see the shock in it when Patrick & Willie tell you a horse who was 25/1 is their best bumper horse with their record in the race.
Has to do it on the track but you can't really argue when people like that who are watching the horse everyday, similar from others around the Mullins stable are saying similar.
The price fall is inevitable as bookies build up liabilities, the price has to tumble. Some people get shocked when they see prices tumbling but if money goes down its simple how bookies must react for their books.
You kind of either get on board when it was 25,20,16 etc for periods or don't but its easy to moan when it reaches bottom price before the race then , its not like it opened 10/1Last edited by Run4Home; 26 December 2021, 10:48 AM.Comment

Very impressive from FV and has gone some way in justifying the hype. Unless something special comes out in the new year from another yard I think we've seen the bumper winner already. A straight match between Willie and Gordon's best FV and AM much like Kilcruit vs Sir Gerhard last season before the yard change. High 120's RPR after putting the race to bed with little fuss a minimum surely. Nothing else in the betting that looks capable of troubling either, Pink in the Park while visually impressive back in October is not the one for me and looking at distances between The Big Doyen and Cool Survivor compared to FV he's not the one either, anyone on both AM and FV should be sitting pretty. Embassy gardens could be interesting tomorrow but again I'd be surprised to see him put up anything to trouble the top two. Not going to be seeing AM again before March but certainly couldn't have one over the other on what we've seen so far imo, both highly impressive horses.Comment

RTV just saying Willie says Embassy Gardens they look at favourable over Facile Vega... and was the one he was most excited about today.
25/1 with 365.
Will take that, seems a better bet than FV - although he has got to win
