Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

The chances of Quevega foaling a horse good enough to win a Cheltenham Festival race are so small.

12/1 best price now for the Bumper.

I'd probably take 12/1 on her to 'ever foal a festival winner', but I'm not sure that'd be good value either

        • Classic Getaway is entered up in 2 hurdle races
however, I do not see an entry for Grangeclare West
I am hoping he is been held back for this
          Hopefully not an injury

You’d have thought they would have entered him in some bumpers if they were thinking that.

To me I think he’s probably got some sort of injury unfortunately

The chances of any horse foaling one good enough are smaller though! [not a statement on the price]

You wouldn't have a clue how to birth a horse. No amount of wikipedia or youtube is gonna help you.

Obviously I will now be looking into it.
how to do it - of course
as I’ll never get round to doing it.
                    once hatched a chick though

I could well imagine unless the sire’s name is/was Galileo, you’d get 12/1 and the rest on any horse siring a Cheltenham festival winner/ Grade 1 on the flat……!!

                              Walk in the park
                              quevega sired by
                              robin des champs

no wonder the Mullins expect a lot.
got to be muggy not to back it I reckon
                              It’s a certainty

Backed very much Quevega a month back.

I wasn’t suggesting his value, more so it’s probable double figures that any sire father’s a festival winner - there’s an awful lot of sires and an awful lot of foals born every year who don’t even make it to ‘maiden hurdle’ stage.

Sholokhov is the sire I always like to keep any eye on going forwards - progeny including Shishkin & Bob Olinger might mean level stakes profits going forwards on foals born from this gent potentially.
