Mortal has just schooled. Was average. The ground has gone in favour of Singing Banjo. He's the bet at the prices and weights, 100%.

        Charlie

Do you just live near the course and can just wander over to the course or are you employed in the industry? Cheers anyhow.

              • Ruby just namechecked the cross country chase for shady operator on itv. Basically in the context that he's better than all those running today. Interesting info given he was meant to be there today

                      • Sorry if I’ve missed this but was there any reason why shady operator wasn’t in today’s race. Cashed him out when no entry but wondering whether to re-add, bet365 seem to be pretty quick on injuries/NR’s this year.

                        • Plan of Attack looks like another 'Just So', there isn't a race in the calendar far enough for him, crept into todays race and only beat 3.5l but had a featherweight and despite the standard reaction by bookies to shorten him I couldn't have him off levels in a stronger field.

Odin I didn't see/hear the Ruby interview but good to get that confirmed...

Cashing out on no entry seems quite premature.

It was, I think I read the trainer mentioning this will be the next race and as soon as I didn’t see the entry I cashed thinking bet365 might turn it off as they’ve been on the ball this season
                              WIll probably re-add now.

Shady Operator has been on the go for a while, presumably he's just being given a break before the PP Hogan in Feb, you have to go back almost two years to find his last break of more than two months, and it was only a few weeks ago he hacked up in the Risk of Thunder.
                                Huge player for this...
