Hello Fat Jockeys,
Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum
We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.
I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

2022 Cross Country Chase

I think Elliott and the O’Learys need to have a long look at themselves and ask what they want from the horse as he owes them nothing.
Is the Cross Country Chase the aim?
If so then running him yesterday on ground he hates was poor race planning and isn’t looking after him.
More likely they’re still trying to prove a point to the British handicapper and bring his mark down. Well maybe do that over a trip too short but on decent ground, there’s any number of ways to do what’s needed.
The trainer has always said that he’s best in the spring. Well run him then and don’t risk sickening the horse. He’s 12 in a matter of weeks and he should be being looked after.

Not going to write off his chances by any means.
But a big part of why I backed him was based on a run next week.

Fridays Handicap cross country going to take a risk on Mortal at 33/1 on Bet365. Its quite strange why Elliot would enter the horse for this, but horse is on a handy mark of 139 for this, I think he'll stay the 3m 6f just depends on how he does over the course. Willing to risk it and see what happens as I think 33/1 is quite overpriced I think for this.

….kiss of death, but coincidentally just backed this myself.
Remember it running a fine race in RSA but seems to have lost its way in more recent times with JoB. Takes a leap of faith to see it coming here in March, but I was tempted by the entry to have a little interest on Friday.Last edited by Eggs; 7 December 2021, 02:30 PM.

Not sure he'd be winning this off levels though, he'd need to bolt up tomorrow to make me think that
