The Laurina part is guesswork, but even at that, right now- you could argue Melon's debut is very good form having given weight to Fakir.

Many seem to be writing Melon off because he was beat by Fakir.

I personally doubt Laurina runs at xmas.

Wouldn't worry too much as in weekender stable tour iv'e just read Honeybollocks basically says looking to get another run into him then aim him at any hcap they choose. Jp what do you expect

If Willie really likes Laurina, he should run in the race boxing day.
A convincing win and she goes very short and it's hers to lose I reckon.
Possibly 6/4 ish maybe.

She is running. Should win comfortably if she's an arkle winner .

Fakir is over rated on both runs imo, he would have been easily dispatched by samcro even with the allowance. Come march if hes beaten and sent back up in trip off levels, I cant see any way he reverses.

Not sure it'll be that straightforward for her, as she's probably up against the best two jumpers we've seen in Ireland, and last time she coasted round at half speed. We know what happened in the champion when they went like the clappers from the off.

Iv backed note Book at 50s but fully expect he'll get stuffed here 10L +. Laurina should stalk fakir and basically do what samcro was going to do, and go past him on the bridle. I don't think she'll win far but I don't think townend will have to get stuck into her and see what she has off the bridle at all. She is very questionable off the bridle. But shouldn't have to get the kitchen sink out here.

I'd agree with that, I do. I'm far more worried about the engine than a horse making a mistake etc... hence why I was so keen on ABP. And still am. But it dosent always work out that way.

I'll be delighted if notebook can go anywhere near. I genuinely think he'll be stuffed 10L plus. Was Worth a shot And no harm done.
