Melon would not get near Laurina in the betting? They have to think she's better than him.
So I don't think Fakir will go off fav.
Not that I really care.
I dont think he'll win, but I'd be confident enough that he'll go off odds on and fav.
Definitely one for the arbershttps://scooby91horseracingtips.com/

I do think Fakir has slightly been overrated but with that 4 year old allowance he’ll be very hard to beat. Without that allowance in March I’m not sure he’ll be good enough to win the Arkle but I live in hope. As for Laurina ......... surely she’s a JLT type although I’m glad she’s going over 2 miles as she would be Samcro’s main danger in the JLT. Who knows but I think Boxing Day evening is going to be very interesting for Mullins after she gets beat with ease by Fakir.

If Fakir D'oudaries takes Laurina's scalp, can anyone see them going back up in trip again to face Samcro?
Does a win for him over 2m cement his target as this race?
If he's beat, any chance he still runs in this race?
Lose over 2m to Laurina, step back up in trip for another crack at Samcro?
Laurina this week, with Fakir D'oudaries for the JLT?
Fakir this week, with Laurina for the JLT?
Samcro beats both in the JLT though

He simply wasn’t running over the correct trip or over the correct obstacles. He’s simply a star

Whether it stands up in a fast pace 2m we will soon find out, but can’t discount her based on her debut where she jumped well.
Although I believe it was owner fuelled, Mullins must believe she has a good bit pace to send her for the champion hurdle, if she wasn’t quick he would surely have told the owner there and then she would have no chance but that wasn’t the case and she took her chance. Didn’t travel well was Ruby’s post race comments which to me doesn’t seem bad finishing 4th in a champion hurdle (albeit not the principles fighting out the finish we expected).
