I'd probably be thinking about retiring him. Really doesn't need to come back and win anything to be remembered for what he did ....
Still only 9 so unless there's been a big setback I'm not expecting them to be considering retirement.
As others have already said on here Djakadam at 14-1 is surely great value in this race. Thistle crack is the stand out native river is far too short for me Don cossack has to prove his well being and cue card looks like he may go Ryanair. I know they've suggested Djakadam may go the Ryanair route but I can't see it myself and with his jumping seemingly improved he's one of the most overpriced horses in any of the championship races.
I just don't get the love for Djakadam. Can anyone explain how he is going to win this race? Tried twice, failed twice.
I still think there's not enough love for the 4m form from last year, Minella Rocca has every right to go closer than a few at the head of market if he were to be sure to run...
The only horses to have beaten him won't be running in it. Coneygree gone, R2R and DC won't make it...
Thistlecrack falls. Djakadam had a better prep than last years fall and is at the right age to improve.
I am not a huge fan but wouldn't be so dismissive. I think he will certainly be in the frame which strikes me as a decent poke.
There'll be more depth to this years race than a few recent renewals, people just haven't scoured the unfashionable entries.
Zabana and Minella Rocco at big prices entitled to go close...
