After a shocker of a day yesterday.... Going to take a back step and just enjoy watching most of the races

To have some betting interest I've stuck a 5pt single on Streets of Doyen, backed it at Chelts so will follow it here

And have a trixie which spills on to tomorrow.... Dusart, chantry house and my drogo... 18/1

I was 0 out of 7 yesterday though so confidence is low

Good idea mate - something I do when I'm in a rut at a tough meeting like this is I go through the card super throughly, and write up a list of selections, but then don't back them financially and make a little game of it to see how I get on. I find adds a little fun to the day with no risk, and always perks me up, cos even if it was a washout I saved myself losing cash!

Today looks bloody hard imo, slightly worried with how many favs I've ended up with.

I backed Visioman at 20/1 in the preview when Blake first put him up, but seems fairly weak which is a worry coming from a punting stable

Done a win trixie of Dusart, Chantry House and Carribean Boy, and whacked a quid in the place pot. FORZA HENDO (previous incidence where I called him a "wasteman" are false)

Added Jacamar in the opener 18/1 EW 7 places. He's a course winner and LTO on flat can be ignored. In an open race I think he's worth chancing

This 2m4f handicap hurdle is as tricky or even trickier than the coral hurdle. Favs don't have a good record though the top weight looks classy

13.45 - I’ve loaded up on the front 6 in the betting as a shit or bust start to the day. It’s probably a flawed strategy but my plan is to double my money to have a healthier pot to focus on singles today after my failed multiples approach yesterday. So I’ve backed Mister Coffey, Monte Cristo, Wilde About Oscar, Solwara One, Toranador and Edwardstone. I think this may be a custard pie starter for me.

14.20: Dusart - I can’t see past Dusart for this, I’m just hoping he’s ready and doesn’t disappoint. If any other horse wins then a bit like some of the races yesterday the standard has dropped.

14.50 - Fiddlerontheroof and Shan Blue.....I’m hoping they can save their best until last beat a susceptible favourite. This looks a great race on paper even if it’s a Europa League match up with out the Irish.

15.25 - No selection as yet

16.00 - Carabean Boy and Precious Cargo.....Whilst my faith in my hero Henderson is wavering and eroding I’m not giving up on him just yet

16.35 - Bravemansgame and Galyhill. Just like the first race of the day I am expecting BMG to stuff the opposition here and if not I’ll be very disappointed

17.05 - no selections and I doubt I’ll have any money left

The King had his custard pie for dessert!! Toranador drifted to 22/1 and I got the BOG, a big extra dumping of wonga!!! I’m back in the game
