He's a dodgepot who only won last time because the 2nd was legless and had nothing left after going too hard
Allaho wins his 3rd
Anything 168+ will be enough

Have to say I'm slightly surprised that people's opinions on allaho have seemed to change pretty drastically as a result of today's race. There seemed to be a large number who were questioning what he had left, but winning a nothing race today seems to have turned the tide completely.
Appreciate it and french dynamite have ran no sort of race at all, and not as a result of trying to go with allaho and he burned them off or anything like that, they were both ridden pretty much the same as stattler but just found nothing and ran below par. So your left with a 13l beating of stattler over 2 and a half miles, a national hunt chase winner who was too slow to keep up with the pace in a 3m 2f gold cup.
Allaho was good and there was nothing to knock him with, but my point would be that if you were disappointed with his opening two runs, then I'm not sure what he did today that would signal improvement to you, as a repeat of either of his first two runs of the season would have seen him win like that today.

Nowt changed and jury still out as far as Allaho is concerned imo

I can't see any people who have dramatically changed their opinions?

I can go through the posts and single out people who I think have gone overboard about today's performance but I don't really think there's any need to. But I've seen a good few posts about how he's still as good as he was and won't be beat, and how other horses might be put off going for the Ryanair now after his win today. Nothing that I saw today would convince me that any of that is true.

The general consensus of Allaho backers is that he does not look the same horse but only because our opinion of him was so high. But this does not mean that he can't win as running 10lbs lower than at his best could still win the Ryanair imo. I do have Stage Star as cover and Banbridge may not even turn up, neverminnd being good enough imo. Envoi Allen is the same age as Allaho and although a good horse, he has never shown as much ability as Allaho and would need to be improving which I don't think he is at his age. Fugitive? Love this horse but will be out of his depth. He couldn't get anywhere near Stage Star!

I'm amazed I've seen some negative takes on social media and on here (beating Stattler, rated 160 by 13 lengths, giving him 5lbs in that ground isn't enough for some people) about Allaho.
He's just a ridiculously talented horse over the mid trip.
I'm hoping the Ryanair will be run on slightly better ground than yesterday, too.
I wonder if the King George was a test to see if he could take a lead, knowing full well Stage Star lining up in the Ryanair could push Allaho for the lead early on. I imagine they'll attempt to just bolt out in front now regardless of Stage Star being in the race or not.
