Was just looking at this race that Vauban started in. Mullins got Bunting and a couple of others in this year's renewal. Not heard much about the other two?

    • Mundi has already had a hurdle run so he could easily just have one more and then straight to the Fez. Hang onto those slips kidders !

But didn't win so can be held back for a novice campaign. Food for thought.

I think if Sir Gino bolts up on debut and looks special then it'll be a no brainer for willie to sit on him Mundi for a year.

Safer to not have anything on him at the minute

Willie has Anzadam for the Donnelly’s too. And he’s not a maiden so really needs to be out this year.

            • He'll not be holding Mundi back if he thinks he's his best chance of winning the Triumph. I'm expecting an entry at DRF .

              • Kennedy up on Mighty Bandit. Daryl Jacob picks the other double green horse (not Batman). Ethical Diamond declared on 27th for Mullins.

                • Bunting looked very green but won as he liked

Next time will reveal much more

                  • Anymore news on mighty bandit? Racing post reports nasal discharge according to vet.

                    • ….Sir Gino;

The Seven Barrows handler added: “He will need to go up in grade now and we can’t pussy foot around with him. You would have thought that the Triumph Hurdle will be where he goes.

“He is not a typical Triumph Hurdle horse, as he is not an ex-Flat racer. He is a proper horse.

“I’d think he will be okay with everything at Cheltenham, but I would like to give him at least one or two more runs before we go there.”

                      • He definitely looked like he could do with a couple more runs

Looked super talented but very green

Given how big he looked and how green he was im a little surprised he wasn't given a year off to mature and go into novice hurdles

Really like the look of him

                        • Agree he looked very raw. Big stride on him and looks a proper Staying Chaser in the making. Not sure he looks a Triumph horse.

                            He's not a novice, don't forget.

Yes a tad novicey but looks to have a fair engine
Particularly liked the way he put that race to bed very quickly
One or possibly two more runs apparently before March.
                                Nice horse.
